Samuel Edmondson was born about 1767 in Third Haven, Talbot County, Maryland. He was the son of Solomon Edmondson and Susannah Wilkinson. On September 25, 1791 Samuel married Elizabeth Johnson in Greene County, Tennessee. Solomon Edmondson (1792), On May 3, 1792 Samuel Edmondson bought 200 acres at the head of Sinking Creek. This was adjacent to Solomon Edmondson and William Handley. They lived there from 1790 to 1807 before moving to the Ballcamp community in Knox County. On December 6, 1806 Samuel Edmondson sold 200 acres on Sinking Creek. Samuel died in 1863 in Beaver Creek, Knox County, Tennessee. |
